Outside Indie is an open music blog that encourages everyone — regardless of their age and musical background/taste — to write about music in a way that is authentic, personal, and comfortable to them.
Don’t confine yourself to the traditional parameters of musical critique. Find your own prose, and discuss what a musician, song, or album means to you.
In this manner, we hope to generate fresh and unique forms of music review. Ultimately, we hope this exercise will be more satisfying for all involved: the writers, our readers, and the artists themselves.
